This was a still-life set up by my friend and fellow painter Nancy Sargent, (Fish Creek, WI) who loves floral painting juxtaposed with interesting textile designs.  This was a real challenge for me!  Our pieces look totally different. I went home and painted the window and view of part of the Door Peninsula from memory in the background.
